ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

BRAND ARCHITECTS

The Foundation Showroom is comprised of a team of innovative brand architects that build and develop operative business strategies for both emerging and established brands within the fashion lifestyle industry.

Industry veterans, Antwain Freeman, Dre Hayes , Ari Langsdorf, and Daniel Yadgard established the Foundation in 2007. Having grown up in the industry, the Founders’ knowledge and understanding of the business speaks authoritatively to they way they build brands monetarily while simultaneously enhancing their notoriety.  The Founders’ demonstrated expertise has been aggregated to develop many successful brands.

As brand architects, the primary function is Brand Strategy, Distribution, and Sales.  Much of business has been geared towards launching apparel, footwear, and accessory lines by offering creative direction and product development consultation. The Foundation operates in the same manner as that of the brand’s in-house team, collaborating closely with clients with the understanding that they are partners. The team brings multiple decade long relationships with top, well respected retailers, buyers, and influencers.

G-Shock is the ultimate tough watch. It was born from a developer's dream of "creating a watch that never breaks." Guided by a "Triple 10" development concept, the design teams sought a watch with 10-meter free-fall endurance, 10-bar water resistance and a 10-year battery life.

At a time when it was commonly believed that watches were breakable items, G-Shock's development represented a challenge to common sense. The number of experimental prototypes built for endurance testing reached over 200. And the structural development and parts improvement took approximately two years. After a long, hard process of trial and error, G-Shock was finally launched. A shock resistant structure that overturned conventional thinking about watches was realized thorough breakthrough thinking, including the ideas of a hollow- structured case, all-directional protective covering and the use of cushioning material to protect critical parts.

The brainchild of industrial designer Maria von Euler, Molami’s beginnings can be traced back to Maria’s studies at design school in Stockholm, Sweden. Her experience working with Zound Industries during a break between classes inspired her degree project, which ultimately led to the inception of Molami.

During the next several years Maria incorporated the process of tailoring and fashion design – how materials and shapes flatter the female form – into a methodical industrial design approach. Using this approach, she sculpted headphones that frame and enhance the features of the feminine face. This has never been done in the headphone industry.

Maria’s meticulous attention to detail can be seen in each pair of Molami headphones – from the tailored silhouette of each model down to the braided textile-wrapped cords and discreet accents plated in gold and silver.

Today Molami can be seen on individuals who share Maria’s vision of wearable sound. Where headphones are designed from a fashion standpoint, worn as a selected accessory and tailored for the contemporary individual.

We founded Tidal New York upon the simple idea that in order to make better flip flops, it needed to be done domestically. Having grown up around the footwear business, we have seen American factories shutter one by one. By the time we entered the business, production had all but vanished from the American landscape. Now is the time to turn the tide.

We built our Homegrown For Good factory in New York to prove that America can once again become a player in footwear manufacturing. Seeing flip flops as t-shirts for your feet, we partnered with amazing licenses that represent some of the best of American culture and pioneered a new, high resolution printing process in order to bring these cultural icons to vivid life. Our materials are all domestically sourced to ensure a level of quality that is second to none.
